  • 211 is a free, multilingual, 24/7 helpline answered by Community Navigators who help callers connect with services and programs in their community.  The helpline is supported by a province-wide database of community, social, health and government services, which is also available for the public at 211Ontario.ca.

  • Supports for people who have drug, alcohol or gambling-related problems. 24-hour telephone crisis support, daily drop-in, groups for youth, adults and families, assessment and referrals to community treatment options, including Residential Withdrawal Management services (detox).


PRHC Emergency Department

  • PRHC provides unscheduled emergent, urgent and non-urgent patient care to 70,000 adults and children per year. It is the only emergency care facility located in Peterborough. ED staff assess and treat a complete range of patients from the region.
