Talking about cannabis with clients or patients? We did some research on what works and what doesn’t. In 2019, we solicited feedback from members of the Peterborough community on health messaging around cannabis via phone surveys and focus groups. Interested in a presentation on what we learned? Are you receiving questions from clients or patients about cannabis? Are you using resources, such as Canada’s Lower-Risk Cannabis Use Guidelines (LRCUG), to guide these discussions? Are you looking to balance the evidence about the health effects of cannabis with what people need?
In 2019, we conducted research on local attitudes and perceptions regarding health messaging related to cannabis. This webinar will cover the purpose of our research, the local context surrounding cannabis, what we learned, as well as tools and strategies to address stigma as a limiting factor in effectively supporting clients and patients who use cannabis.
